Epoxy Flooring Problems
I hired a professional epoxy floor installer who had great photos online. But the results were completely different.
First, a little background: when the installer was sanding the old floor, he encountered a problem and had to apply a coat of something black. I was at work, and he kept calling me, asking if I wanted to do it, but by the time I finished, he said he'd already applied the black coat and would continue with the white coat as planned. However, the black coat still shows through, and it's incredibly annoying.
In addition to the weird lines in the epoxy and claims that nothing more can be done, he now claims he's copying the original work I showed him because it has black spots (isn't that a shadow??).
Can this be fixed? What would you do next? It's been two weeks since he promised to finish, and I have other work in this room that needs to be done by the deadline.
My sister told me not to pay. My husband told me to find out the cost of the materials and pay only for those. I don't know what the "right" thing to do is.

This situation is quite common, as it's difficult to assess the true level of work from portfolio photos, and any claims that nothing can be done are, to put it mildly, unprofessional. In such situations, it's best to engage specialists at epoxy flooring services gold coast , who handle the entire process from base preparation to finishing, focusing on proper preparation and a multi-layer system to avoid such problems.
