When you download a free 3D model, what's the first thing you check before slicing to avoid wasting filament on a bad file? Do you look at comments, photos of actual prints, or something else?

After getting burned a few times with models that looked perfect in the preview but turned into spaghetti halfway through a print, I learned the hard way that the first thing I check now is the actual print photos from other users, not just the pretty renders. That’s where you catch the real issues - bad overhangs, unsupported gaps, or walls that are paper thin. Looking for feedback about high quality 3d stl files has become my second step, because if a file has clean manifold geometry and reasonable poly count, the comments will usually mention it. Then I run a quick slice preview and scroll layer by layer, watching for floating pieces or crazy travel moves. Photos of real prints save me the most wasted filament by far, since a glossy render never shows you where supports will fail or where details get mushy.
