How to make the most of The Delancey's basement space for a livestream or pop-up event?
Hi everyone — I just visited The Delancey and I’m considering hosting a small livestream + pop-up event in the basement. I’d like to ask for your input on how to best utilize That's Not My Neighbor space. Specifically:
Anyone who has hosted in The Delancey’s basement: what did you find helpful and difficult?
Are the sound, lighting, and internet connections okay?
Any tips on how to “make the most” of the space so it doesn’t feel cramped or too dark?
If you have any suggestions, I think adding a “gaming lounge” or a small chill corner with a gaming table would create a different vibe — do you think it would be a good fit?
I’d love to hear from anyone with experience or creative suggestions — thanks in advance!

The concept of setting up a tiny gaming lounge in the basement is fantastic; it might make the area feel lively and participatory. A digital game nook, for example, might provide a distinctive atmosphere without taking up much space. I recently looked at https://crashx.games/ for inspiration, and their online gameplay venues' designs provided me some ideas for maintaining a lively yet comfortable atmosphere. Even a small tablet or screen with short, entertaining activities could entice people to stay and mingle in a limited space.
