Lost phone search
Left my phone in a taxi last morning. Didn’t notice right away, only later. Tried calling it, no answer, guess it’s on silent. Driver’s not picking up either. At this point I’m just stuck without a phone and trying not to make it worse by doing something pointless.

It really is a shame there wasn’t an easier option back then. When a phone is on silent, calling it over and over doesn’t get you anywhere, you just sit there hoping for nothing. At least now you can try to find location by phone number if the phone is still on. It’s not magic and won’t always lead you straight to it, but sometimes even a rough location helps you decide whether it’s worth taking next steps or if it’s already gone for good.
