How does crypto prop trading actually work for beginners?

Lately I’ve been trying to understand how crypto prop trading works, but I’m still a bit confused about the whole process. A friend of mine mentioned that some platforms let you trade with company funds if you pass some kind of evaluation first. I mostly trade small amounts of crypto on my own account just for learning, but the idea of getting access to a larger funded account sounds interesting. At the same time, I wonder how realistic it is for beginners. Do you need years of experience to pass those challenges, or can someone who’s still learning have a chance if they manage risk properly?

I had the same question a while ago when I started exploring prop trading in crypto. From what I’ve seen, most of these programs work through a verification or challenge phase where you show that you can trade consistently without taking huge risks. If you pass, they give you access to a funded account and you share part of the profits. When I was researching it, I came across https://www.texomapowersports.com/ which explains the process pretty clearly. It helped me understand that the main focus isn’t huge profits but discipline and risk control. Even beginners can try it if they practice first on demo accounts and learn basic strategies.
