Lately I’ve been trying to figure out whether my mother might need more consistent help throughout the entire day, because short visits no longer seem to cover the moments when she struggles the most. Sometimes she needs support with basic routines, and other times it’s more about having someone nearby to make sure she’s safe, especially at night. It’s overwhelming to decide when occasional care stops being enough.
