I’d love to hear about it

I’ve been spending more time around Praslin lately, and every time I go out on a small boat I notice another tiny inlet or rock formation that looks like it’s hiding something worth stopping for. But I’m never sure which places are actually good to drop anchor for a bit of snorkeling or just to sit and enjoy the still water without worrying about currents or protected-area rules. If anyone has a personal “hidden spot” they return to often, I’d love to hear about it — especially the ones that don’t show up in the usual tourist lists.

I can totally relate to that feeling around Praslin — some of the best moments really come from those unmarked little coves that don’t make it into guidebooks. One thing that made exploring easier for me was having the freedom to move and stop wherever it felt right, without stressing about logistics. If you’re often heading out on small boats, having reliable gear on land matters too. I recently came across great boat trailer options with plenty to choose from at vanclaes.com, and it honestly makes spontaneous trips much simpler. Curious to hear others’ favorite quiet spots as well.
