Local business owner confused about where to start with seo
Guys, I’m running a small local service business and feel completely lost with SEO. Website exists, but almost nobody finds us through Google unless they search the exact brand name. Competitors show up for “near me” searches and different service keywords, while we’re buried somewhere far behind. Tried to add more text to pages and created a basic blog, but it hasn’t changed much. There are so many opinions online about backlinks, technical fixes, content length and so on that it’s overwhelming. What would be a realistic starting plan for a local company that just wants steady search traffic and more leads?
