Hey, quick question. My dryer used to handle normal loads without issues, but lately I keep pulling clothes out that are still damp. Nothing changed in how I use it, and filters are clean. It’s starting to get annoying because I often have to rerun cycles. Any idea what could be going on?

This usually points to reduced airflow or a drop in heating efficiency. Even if the lint trap is clean, the vent line behind the machine can slowly clog up and restrict air movement. That alone is enough to cause longer drying times. I’ve also seen cases where the moisture sensor becomes less accurate over time and stops ending the cycle correctly. When I had a similar issue, I got InterTech involved, and their Dryer Repair Services helped confirm it was just a blocked vent rather than a failing unit. After that, performance went back to normal.
