Playing Monopoly with kids — fun or frustration?”
So I recently tried introducing Monopoly to my younger nieces and nephews. At first, they were super excited about the colorful money and little metal figures. But as soon as someone had to pay rent or mortgage a property, it all turned into chaos. One started crying because she didn’t want to “lose her house,” another kept giving away money just to be nice. I honestly didn’t know whether to laugh or give up. Has anyone found a way to make Monopoly fun and simple for kids without all the tears and confusion?
