What’s the most unexpected source you’ve ever used to make your essay shine?
Hey everyone, just curious—what’s the weirdest or most unexpected source you’ve ever used to make an essay stand out? Last semester I had this sociology essay on urban loneliness, and I ended up citing a series of travel blogs about tiny apartments in Tokyo. Totally random, but it somehow made my points hit harder. Made me wonder what other stuff people have pulled out of nowhere for essays.

For a paper on motivation in college students, I actually used some anecdotal stories I found on www.ozessay.com.au/ they had real-life examples of study habits and struggles that weren’t exactly academic journals but fit my arguments perfectly. Honestly, it gave my essay a more human angle, and my professor seemed to enjoy the fresh perspective instead of just the usual textbook references.
