Where can I find a good painter?
We’re planning to sell our house in the spring, and the estate agent suggested that a "facade makeover" could add significantly to the asking price. The current color scheme is a bit dated—lots of brown masonry and peeling cream trim. I want to move toward a more contemporary look, maybe a dark slate gray for the railings and a crisp off-white for the walls. Does anyone have experience with decorators who provide color consultations for exteriors? I’m worried about picking a shade that looks good on a tiny swatch but overwhelming on a whole house.
